Life can get in the way. So I totally understand. I know my TBR pile is just ridiculously high. So don't stress about it. Maybe it's for the best. :)

Second, wow. I'm so sorry you went through all that. That's every writer's worst nightmare, but thanks so much for sharing that. I know if you made it through that much turmoil and heartache that I can make it too.

Thanks again! :) I know I'll make it, I just have to take the right steps to do so.Larissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02739647250724315874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1051848062156974901.post-22988008324048646092012-01-25T17:55:25.330-05:002012-01-25T17:55:25.330-05:00You know... First let me apologize for not re-read...You know... First let me apologize for not re-reading what you had fixed. And second, my first book was published with Publish America. Google it, read the "scamtalk". My first book was published through them and it was a horrible experience for me. They left out a chapter, they didn't do the book cover like I hoped, they didn't even READ it to give me any sort of feedback. I know now that PoD is what you make of it, but I had rose colored glasses on. I was in a 7 year contract and I absolutely hated looking at my book. I cried and cried about it, seriously. Then I quit. I quit writing it, I didn't look at it, I put it down verbally, bashed my own work!! Then, one day I had an epiphany and rewrote the whole damn thing and it is better than before AND is being published by someone I have researched.
You'll get there with your book, too. You are making a smart decision to walk away rather than beating it beyond glue. You can't work on something you don't love. I'm still here if you need a review of something new and you know I will be honest with you but I won't be harsh. *hugs*Mel Chesleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08200734886454147170noreply@blogger.com
