Or suffer the consequences. Cue evil laughter.

That was a tough review. But hopefully you gathered some gems from the fire. Do you have beta readers and an editor? I always send my books through three or four beta readers and then a professional editor before I upload it. Even then errors slip through. For my latest book, I had one reviewer say that the book was riddled with errors and then another reviewer (who was a copy editor) say it was error free. I went through the manuscript again and did find an instance of chose instead of choice and where instead of were. Two errors! Certainly not a ton as the one reviewer said, but it happens. But if several reviewers mention grammatical errors, I would invest in an editor. I have two that I use since I write so many books. One editor can't keep up with me!
Hey Sybil! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. It's rather complicated, but let me put it this way: I hired two editors, I got it critiqued, and had my friend go over it. There shouldn't be any problems, but I'm reading over it right now. And to me, it still seems fine.So I'll continue to read and see what happens. Thanks again!
